DESCRIPTION
Since I'm always striving for unique arrangements, I set this 4/4 tune in the unusual meter of 9/8 to make sure it stands out from all the other “Go Tell It” arrangements that are out there.
I think you'll find this to be a very fresh and lively version of the familiar tune!
Note: This piece will soon be available for chorus and FULL orchestra.

TEXT INFO
Go, Tell It on the Mountain!
Traditional spiritual
Complete text:
Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere!
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born!
While shepherds kept their watching
O'er silent flocks by night,
Behold, throughout the heavens
There shone a holy light.
(Refrain)
The shepherds feared and trembled,
When lo! above the earth
Rang out the angel chorus
That hailed our Savior's birth.
(Refrain)
Down in a lowly manger,
The humble Christ was born.
And God sent us salvation
That blessèd Christmas morn!
(Refrain)
