DESCRIPTION

This is an arrangement of “O Come, All Ye Faithful” unlike any other that's out there!

This  piece is highly dramatic and would make an outstanding final number for your holiday pops program (although it can certainly appear elsewhere on the program).

The opening bars are immediately dramatic, the second verse contains a fugue, and the third verse is incredibly majestic. This is probably the grandest and most thrilling carol arrangement that I've ever written.

TEXT INFO

O Come, All Ye Faithful

Latin words attributed to John Francis Wade, 1751 —
Translated by Frederick Oakeley, 1841

Complete text:

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant!
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem!
Come and behold him, born the king of angels:
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation!
Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above:
“Glory to God, all glory in the highest!”
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!

Yea, Lord, we greet thee, born this happy morning!
Jesus, to thee be glory given!
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing!
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!

Gloria!  In excelsis Deo!
