Peter Bloesch Listen

“Having conducted a number of Peter's choral works, I can attest to the fact that his choral writing is consistently outstanding and a delight to sing.

Accessible and artistic, the music of Peter Bloesch deserves attention and frequent performance.”

— Dr. Randal A. McChesney,
Past Pres. of the Choristers Guild;
Active choral clinician and adjudicator throughout the country

Choral Music

Overview

Writing choral music has been a lifelong passion of mine. My father, Richard Bloesch, taught choral literature and conducting for many years, so a deep love of choral music was instilled in me from an early age. Also, my mother is a talented composer, and I discovered the joys of composing from her example, composing my first choral works around the age of 14.

My desire is to create choral music that not only entertains, but also touches people in a meaningful way. I believe that choral music has the power to heal us all, and to unite us across the globe.

For top-quality recordings, I collaborated with former Chanticleer singer Matthew Curtis, who professionally performed most of the choral works on this website.

NEWS FLASH: The Grammy award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer recently premiered my holiday piece "Behold a Simple, Tender Babe" on their Christmas concert series.
