“It Came Upon the Midnight Clear”
(A congregational hymn arrangement)
DESCRIPTION: Due to the “Mendelssohnian” style of the carol itself, I thought it would be nice to create a gentle, flowing arrangement in the style of Mendelssohn.
For both verses, the congregation and choir sing the melody in unison, allowing the organ accompaniment to take center stage.
